Machine Operator - Day Shift Blown Film, Updated Starting Pay!

About the Role

Loparex, a leading global manufacturer of silicone release liners, is seeking both new and experienced Machine Operators to join our team at our Hammond, Wisconsin factory. We partner with some of the world's largest manufacturers to create products used in various industries, including branding, packaging, hygiene, medical supplies, automotive, electronics, and aviation.

Schedule

Day Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 2-2-3 Schedule (2 days on Monday-Thursday; Every other Friday-Sunday off)

Pay

Base Pay Rate: $21.50 hourly, plus premiums:

• 2-2-3 Schedule Premium: $2.00 / hr
• Opportunities for additional pay increases if trained as a secondary or primary operator

Responsibilities

• Operate the machine, including start-up, changeover, shutdown, and daily operation
• Observe and monitor machine for defects during operation
• Identify and correct problems on the machine; notify appropriate personnel of operational issues
• Use computer to enter valid information and print roll labels
• Perform routine quality testing on products
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including equipment
• Follow company safety procedures
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and customers
• Ability to read, write, follow verbal and written instructions, use basic math, take accurate measurements, and use hand tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong interpersonal and team skills
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for 12 hours
