Machine Operator - Davi Plate Roller

Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Machine Operator – Davi Plate Roller to join our team in Thomasville, GA. The operator will program, set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot a Davi Plate Roller in accordance with ASME code for pressure vessels and related components, read blueprints, and perform layout from the blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Davi Plate Roller to meet safety, quality, and production standards.
• Understand and follow all safety rules, including operating overhead cranes, scissor lifts, and ladders.
• Apply basic welding skills as needed.
• Adhere to 5S housekeeping procedures and Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Troubleshoot and adjust the machine as required.
• Perform basic machine maintenance.
• Safely load and unload material in and out of the machine.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Team Leader or Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; technical training at an accredited school is a plus.
• Good reading, writing, and math skills.
• One to two years of machine operation experience, including experience operating overhead cranes.

Skills

• Blueprint reading and layout.
• Basic welding skills.
• Machine troubleshooting and adjustment.
• Basic machine maintenance.
