Machine Operator CRC Only

About the role

SURESTAFF is hiring Machine Operators for a client in Lake Zurich, IL. The position offers competitive compensation ($18-$19/hr) and benefits including health insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing dies, stops, guides, and turntables.
• Safely and effectively operate thermoforming equipment to produce quality product.
• Read job specifications and previous run data to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Ensure job is in order prior to machine set-up.
• Perform required quality testing on products produced, including burst test, drop test, water table test, etc.
• Observe machine operation to detect piece defects or machine malfunction and make corrections to alleviate out of specification product.
• Stand for long periods of the day and lift up to 50 pounds during shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
• Experience reading and interpreting production specifications is a plus.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
