Machine Operator / Construction Associate

Job Title: Machine Operator / Construction Associate Location: Lakewood, NJ Type: Contract To Hire Pay: $18.00 per hour Hours: First Shift: M-F - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with overtime available Machine Operator / Construction Associate Responsibilities:Sets-up machinery used to mill and cut lumber and wood into pre-fabricated construction materials such as trim, doors, cabinets, railings, stairs, etc.Stages material by following orders and selecting raw material from the warehouseSafely operate lathe and milling equipment (training provided)Move finished product back to warehouse and ensure customer order/ticket remains with product for pick-up/deliveryOperate sit-down forklift to move materials throughout shop and warehouseReport any issues or problems to shift lead and ensure accurate customer ordersPerform quality checks on material including using a tape measureRemove scrap material and properly dispose of debris, keep work station cleanAdhere to safety protocols and wear PPE as required Machine Operator / Construction Associate Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent is preferredAbility to lift up to 50lbs as needed, may need to carry material up to 100 feet unassistedMust be able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift and use both arms/hands/legsAble to work indoors and/or outdoors in various weather conditionsFlexibility to work Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and overtime as neededMust wear work boots, glasses, ear plugs provided on siteAbility to read and use a tape measure and hand tools/saws is preferredHeavy lifting requiredCall Chad at 732-228-8980 for immediate consideration System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
