Set up and operate CNC Router in a manufacturing environment.

Inspect equipment before beginning work to ensure it is in safe operating condition and that any required preventative maintenance checks have been completed.
Perform routine maintenance as required.
Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure that specifications and tolerances are met.
Obtain material, parts, and tools as needed to complete the job.
Set up, adjust, and operate equipment in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner to produce required parts.
Work to reduce scrap and improve quality.
Check work to ensure it meets specifications and tolerances.
Perform tasks such as washing, painting, and spraying in paint booth.
Accurately complete all required paperwork, including recording labor data.
Comply with OSHA Standards.
Keep the Supervisor advised of any quality problems, concerns, delays, or maintenance needs.
Maintain an orderly and safe work environment.
Suggest methods improvements or alternate methods and materials to reduce cost and/or improve quality.
Wear all required PPE (e.g., shoes, gloves, sleeves, safety glasses, face shields, respirators, hearing protection, heat-shielding hoods, jackets, fall protection).
Able to work in adverse climate conditions (hot, cold, dark, loud, etc.).
Able to work in small spaces, kneeling or bending for extended periods.
Demonstrate and embrace all Wabash Values and Leadership Principles in daily activities.
May be assigned to other tasks as needed to meet workload demands.

High school degree or G.E.D. equivalent.
Basic reading, writing, and verbal skills.
General computer skills (Excel and Word).
Strong math skills.
Ability to read and use tape measure, calipers, and gauging equipment.
Ability to read and follow engineering drawings.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Able to exercise independent judgment when performing responsibilities.
Perform work at a quality level that meets or exceeds Wabash and ISO standards.
Ensure a "Winning Together" mentality to eliminate "shift versus shift" mentality.
Share information with others to help them perform their responsibilities safely and efficiently.
Cope successfully with unexpected events throughout the day.
Able to work independently, as well as collectively with other technicians, operators, maintenance, and engineers.

High standards for minimal unplanned absences (critical position to daily operational success).
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Climbing of over six (6) feet in height using a ladder or scaffolding, and bending/stooping to reach underside of tanks.
Physical requirements include bending, stooping, and climbing for approximately 30% of the shift and standing for approximately 70% of the shift.
Ability to work in environments with loud noise, welding, paint fumes, and grinding dust.
