Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and wear required PPE
- Operate production machinery such as CNC routers, shapers, sanders, saws, or molding equipment used in cabinet door manufacturing
- Set up machines according to work orders, specifications, and production requirements
- Load raw materials and unload finished components safely and efficiently
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper performance and product quality
- Inspect finished cabinet door components for defects, dimensions, and finish quality
- Make minor machine adjustments as needed to maintain specifications
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance
- Maintain accurate production documentation and follow job routing instructions
- Meet production, quality, and efficiency standards
- Absorb other production tasks as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read basic measurements and use measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of quality standards and defect identification
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Dependable, punctual, and quality-focused
Job Qualifications and Education
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or cabinet industry is preferred
- A strong understanding of cabinet manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods is a plus
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach, for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs occasionally
- Repetitive hand, arm, and wrist movements
- Exposure to noise, dust, and typical manufacturing conditions
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
