Machine Operator

Job Summary

With general supervision, operate machines to move ordered product through the warehouse to shipping.

Essential Functions

• Operate turret truck and/or order picker machines
• Pick textile rolls from shelves and move to order processing staging area
• Return unused rollos of textiles back to shelves
• Stock shelves with newly received textile rolls
• Load and unload trucks
• Lift up to 70 lbs. when necessary

Magnitude and Relationship Reporting

• This position reports to the Warehouse supervisors and may receive additional assignments from the Warehouse Manager.
• This position typically will have contact with all other warehouse employees, and some contact with other departments.
• Receiving personnel would have contact with truckers.

Knowledge and Skills

• Self-motivated
• Knowledge of UPS online system a plus
• Hilo and Power Jack experience required
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented
• Able to work independently
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Warehouse experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation range for this role is $19.00 - $20.00.
• Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors.
• You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
