About the role

Dakotaland Manufacturing is now hiring a Machine Operator to join their team. This position offers opportunities for those who enjoy working with equipment, paying close attention to detail, and contributing to a team focused on producing high-quality parts.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce parts within required tolerances
Perform first-piece inspections and ongoing quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment
Maintain inspection and production documentation accurately
Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and CNC programs to support production requirements
Report production issues, equipment concerns, or quality problems to the supervisor promptly
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow lockout/tagout procedures during machine setup or maintenance
Participate in safety training sessions and audits as required

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Technical training or certifications in machining or manufacturing are a plus
Manufacturing experience is preferred
Basic ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and CNC programs
Knowledge of precision measurement and inspection techniques is preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
Basic math skills
A desire to learn new skills and grow technical knowledge

Schedule

Monday-Thursday: 6:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Overtime as required
