Machine Operator - Akron - 2nd Shift

About the role

Responsible for operating machinery to assemble and package products in a manufacturing environment. Duties include monitoring equipment operation, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Monitor production levels and adjust as necessary
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure product meets specifications
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
• Handle materials and components according to established procedures
• Work shifts including second shift

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor
• Valid driver’s license (optional)

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Basic computer skills (optional)
