Machine Operator- Afternoon shift 3:00p-11:00p

About the role

We are seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to join our growing team at Second Nature Brands. This position plays a crucial role in our supply chain, supporting the production of our famous Sanders products.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently monitor and run various packaging machines
• Accurately code dates, weights, and place products into appropriate packaging
• Perform assigned preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and correct packaging machine problems
• Clean packaging machines and maintain a clean work environment
• Assist with setting up and changing over of packaging machines
• Work with team lead and supervisor to hit performance targets
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Preform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma/GED
• English proficient
• At least 1 year of machine operator experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Self-directed
• Ability to work well with peers and supervisors
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to keep production lines running efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Standing for 8-10 hours
• Walking up and down stairs
• Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently
• Working in slightly elevated temperatures
• Wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by company

Work Environment

• Near moving mechanical parts
• The noise level in the work environment can be high
• Employee may be required to wear personal protective equipment
• Indoor food manufacturing setting
