The Lincolnton, NC Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center is located approximately 30 miles from Charlotte. The facility employs nearly 500 full-time associates across a 5-shift operation, spanning 235,000 sq ft and managing 12,000 SKUs. In addition to conversion, customizing, and packaging, the facility plays a key role in the abrasives segment of the power tool accessory business. The center is ISO certified and emphasizes BPS, CIP, and 5S methodologies.

About the Role

Machine Operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Set up machines using basic hand tools and measuring devices.
• Identify and troubleshoot common machine problems.
• Read and follow standard operating procedures and product prints.
• Check products to ensure they match specifications.
• Use measuring devices proficiently.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and tool organization per procedures.
• Read and prepare orders.
• Perform math skills appropriate to a machining environment.
• Lift up to 40 lbs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; technical or vocational schooling is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of previous experience in Brazing Processes (or similar).
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication skills (spoken, written, interpersonal).
• Ability to learn and understand new processes, machines, and technology.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts and overtime.
• Ability to stand and be mobile for 8 hours.
• Proper hand dexterity.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
