Machine Operator - 2nd/3rd Shift

About the role

A Machine Molding Operator at Royal is someone who enjoys working with their hands and equipment. In this team-focused environment, you'll remove parts from the injection molding machine and prepare parts for packing and labeling, ensuring customer and performance expectations are met. This position is based at our facility in Mission and reports directly to the team supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and package finished product to ensure customer requirements are met
• Follow work instructions (both visual and written)
• Complete necessary paperwork
• Perform essential functions of the role within safety guidelines
• Participate in Safety and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Maintain a neat and organized work area by following 5S requirements

Requirements

• Self-directed, takes initiative, and possesses good time management skills
• Ability to complete required production paperwork
• Effective communication (reporting on issues and shortages)
• Attention to detail
• Proven attendance and quality track record

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks (8+ hours/day)
• Lifting up to 35 lbs
• Limited bending and stooping
• Ability to use fingers, hands, and arms to complete tasks and handle product
• All employees must wear approved safety glasses

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience
• Willing and able to work overtime
• Able to lift 35 lbs
• Ability to work 2nd (4pm-12am) or 3rd (12am-8am) shift
