Machine Operator - 1st shift

TreeHouse Foods · Hanover, PA · 4 wk ago
Management$25.5/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: headings

for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections where there is real specific content. Must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Must preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "About Us" maybe? The instruction: "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So we need to decide which sections to include based on content. We have: - About Us: description of company. Could be considered "About the role"? Actually "About the role" is separate. The posting includes "About Us" and "What You Gain". There's also "Job Description: About the Role:" with bullet list of duties. There's "Important Details": shift, hours, overtime, pay $25.50/hr. There's "About You": qualifications/requirements. We need to map to sections: - About the role: we have "About the Role:" description (the paragraph about reporting to supervisor, performing functions). Could be used as About the role. - Responsibilities: the list of duties (ensuring production standards, etc.) could go under Responsibilities. - Requirements/Qualifications/Skills: "About You" includes: Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written; Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus; Ability to work overtime and weekends. Could be Requirements or Qualifications. - Benefits: "What You Gain:" includes competitive compensation and benefits program; enrollment in wellness and employee assistance programs; paid holidays, vacation, other competitive paid time off; inclusive working environment; leaders invested in supporting career growth; opportunities to be recognized. So we can put Benefits. - Pay: we have "$25.50/hr." So Pay section. - Schedule: we have shift details: "This is a full-time permanent role on 1st Shift which operates from 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday, Overtime on Saturday as needed." So Schedule. We must not include sections with placeholder or vague content. All these have specific content. We must not repeat job title as heading. So no heading for "Machine Operator - 1st shift". Also not include Job ID etc. We must output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. We need to use

for each section heading. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We need to preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include the details exactly as given, but we can format. We must remove boilerplate: "About Us" maybe we could include as a section? The instruction says use headings for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, etc. It didn't list About Us. But we could include About Us as a section? The instruction says "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It gives examples but not exclusive. However they say "include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it". The About Us is real content. But they didn't list About Us as an example heading; but we could still use

for About Us? The examples are just examples; we could still use About Us heading. However they might expect we only use those example headings. Safer to stick to those headings. The About Us content could be considered part of "About the role"? Not exactly. But we could incorporate some of it into About the role? The About the role already has a paragraph about reporting etc. The About Us is separate company overview. Could we put it under a heading like "About the Company"? Not in list. Might be better to omit About Us because it's not in the list of allowed headings? The instruction: "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." The "e.g." suggests those are examples, not exclusive. But to be safe, we could include About Us as a section with heading

    About Us

. However they said "include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text". About Us has real content, so we could include. But they also said "Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." So we can include About Us. Nevertheless, the examples didn't include About Us, but it's okay. We also have "What You Gain:" which is benefits. We need to ensure we don't include duplicated lines. There's some duplication maybe in "What You Gain:" and later EEO statements etc. We'll remove EEO boilerplate. We need to preserve all substantive information: So we need to include the company overview from About Us, the "What You Gain:" benefits, the role description, responsibilities, important details (shift, pay), about you (requirements). Also maybe the "At TreeHouse Foods, we embrace diversity..." is EEO boilerplate; we should remove that. Also remove "TreeHouse Use Only: #IND1". Also remove "Your TreeHouse Foods Career is Just a Click Away! Click on the “Apply” button or go directly to www.treehousefoods.com/careers to let us know you’re ready to join our team!" That's application instructions; remove. Also remove "At TreeHouse Foods, we embrace diversity and inclusion for innovation and growth..." etc. That's EEO; remove. Also remove "Named one of America’s Best Large Employers by Forbes Magazine..." maybe that's part of About Us; we can keep it as it's substantive about company. It's not boilerplate? It's a accolade; could keep. Thus final HTML:

    About the Role

The Machine Operator role at the Hanover location reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and takes day-to-day direction from the Lead Machine Operator. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

    • Ensures that production standards are met by: operating all packing room machines at specified efficiency (speed). Packing room machines include: Hayssens, box machines, box tapers, stretch wrapper, diverter gates, case labelers and sonic sensors.
    • Determines upcoming production needs by studying production sheet to anticipate changeovers and assigned products to machines. Uses this information to have correct film, co-dates, stickers, hot stamps, etc. ready for next order.
    • Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions and inspecting product for pleats, leakers, holes, registration, and code-dates to keep within specified bag waste limits.
    • Ensures product specifications by completing weight checks on packing lines.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Responsibilities

(Could be same as above? Actually we already listed duties under About the Role. Might be redundant. Better to separate: About the Role is brief description; Responsibilities is the list. We already put list under About the Role. Could move list to Responsibilities and keep About the Role as prose only. Let's restructure: About the Role: prose paragraph about reporting etc. Responsibilities: the list. That avoids duplication.) Thus:

We need to ensure we didn't include any boilerplate. We removed EEO, application instructions, TreeHouse Use Only.
