About the Role
Operate simple machine tools to produce quality products safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Set-up, adjust, and operate equipment such as drill presses and laser machines
- Perform minor maintenance
- Read blueprints and operation layouts
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Report discrepancies
- Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate equipment with minimal supervision
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools
- Knowledgeable of safety practices
- Physically capable of standing, reaching, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and repetitive motions
Preferred Skills
- Basic blueprint reading
- Math skills for manufacturing
- Prior machine operation
- Computer skills
