Machine Operator - 1st shift

Location: Hastings, NE 68901

W2 contract under staffing supplier, 6-month duration with possible conversion based on performance.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 1st shift: 5:30 am to 4:00 pm

Pay

Up to $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Run, inspect, and maintain machines; troubleshoot minor production issues.
• Move materials and parts using forklifts and power lift trucks.
• Follow blueprints and route sheets; train new operators.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and compliance guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Forklift certification required.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Skills

• Basic shop math and blueprint reading.
• Teamwork and communication.
