Machine Operator 1st Shift 7AM-3PM

Momentum Manufacturing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Work in a team environment
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds independently
- Perform simple machine set-ups
- Read and understand most blueprints
- Monitor scrap rates
- Inspect parts in accordance with procedure policy
- Demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of most QC requirements and procedures
- Understand production requirements
- Basic understanding of different cutting tools and their usage
- Basic knowledge of ISO concepts
- Basic understanding of Lean principals
- Available to work overtime if required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel preferred
- Ability to read blueprints a plus but will be trained
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
