Machine Operator - 1St & 2Nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, including mixers, fillers, packaging machines, and processing systems.
• Maintain production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency, quality, and product consistency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and collaborate with Maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and complete required operational checks.
• Ensure all products meet company standards for food safety, quality, and accuracy.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
• Accurately complete production records, quality checks, and operational documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to meet daily production goals.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing setting or food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods).
• Basic mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• The willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when needed.
