About the role
This is a 2nd Shift position: Monday–Thursday, 4:15 PM to 2:45 AM.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of production machines.
- Train on the job to become proficient and certified in performing operations in at least 2 auxiliary equipment standard work groups (e.g., Bake/Grit; PHT; Pinhole Check and Surface Roughness Analyzer).
- Perform routine operations on the production line to produce blades and/or vanes, including all quality checks.
- Perform shift work and work overtime when needed.
- Adhere to daily standard work, perform complex operations successfully, and follow all work instructions while performing tasks.
- Clock labor in Solumina, perform Daily Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM), and document results.
- Keep equipment and work area clean (5S).
- Carry out additional tasks within the scope and skill level of this position to support department objectives and develop skills. Responsibilities may change or be modified based on skill level, proficiency, and overall performance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- U.S. citizenship (required for access to program/contract information).
- Previous manufacturing experience, education, or Advanced Manufacturing Certification.
