Machine Operator 1 (1st Shift Storage)

Position Type: Regular Full-Time. Location: Fort Atkinson, WI, US.

Spacesaver is looking for a Machine Operator to run production equipment and ensure parts meet customer quality and delivery standards. Responsibilities

• Operate pre-set machines such as press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch presses, and roll formers to produce parts according to shop orders.
• Follow all safety protocols, including Lock Out Tagout and ergonomic practices.
• Read and interpret electronic and written shop orders.
• Perform quality inspections using blueprints and precision measuring tools.
• Maintain production efficiency and complete tasks according to schedules.
• Use Spacesaver's ERP system for shop order management and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in other work areas as needed.
• Always work safely and adhere to scheduled hours, including overtime when required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass basic math and measuring assessments.
• Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English (translation assistance available upon request).

Skills

• Skilled in using precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, dial indicators, scales, protractors, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

M-Th 4a-2p, frequent/occassional overtime on Fridays and Saturdays
