About the role
Entry-level and experienced openings for Machine Mechanics on all shifts! If you are someone who liked shop class in school - let’s talk. Or, if you have ever worked with assembly, air cylinders, air operated, or hydraulic equipment - this could be a good fit for you too. Worked in auto repair or restoration? Those skills are transferable. And, military veterans have successfully transitioned to work with us as well.
Responsibilities
- Help meet production goals and quality standards
- Act as first-level support for Operators, troubleshooting equipment issues
- Make adjustments, perform repairs, and support mold changeovers (perhaps 1-2 times per week)
- Stand for their entire shift, sometimes bending, stooping, and crawling under molds, and use hand tools such as wrenches to perform duties
- Perform mold changes, start ups and changes to the molding processes
- Troubleshoot robots and other miscellaneous assembly equipment
- Tag areas of the machines and molds that require repairs
- Ensure work is performed in a neat and professional manner
- Provide day-to-day communication with superintendent and/or mechanics supervisor
- Work on special projects as assigned
- Participate in daily OPM activities as required
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

- Must be able to apply common sense to a situation at all times

- Willingness to work as a team
- Able to handle multiple tasks with limited supervision
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Stryten Energy encourages candidates with Military training and/ or experience to apply
Skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of basic injection molding practices preferred
- Working knowledge of fundamental electrical principles such as repairing/replacing sensors preferred

Pay
The starting rate is $27.21 per hour.
Schedule
- First shift hours: 7am to 3pm (Monday - Friday)
- Second shift hours: 3 pm to 11 pm (Monday - Friday)
- Third shift hours: 11 pm - 7 am (Sunday - Thursday)
