About the role

A typical day in this role will include:

  • Troubleshoot and repair CNC mills/lathes and injection molding equipment (electrical and mechanical systems).
  • Develop, perform, and audit preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain high equipment uptime, including specialized Chemkey systems.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures.
  • Develop and execute emergency repair plans for critical assets.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and DBS activities.
  • Handle and ensure proper disposal of chemical and non-chemical (including hazardous) waste.
  • Participate in team meetings for planning, resource allocation, problem-solving, and project work.
  • Assist with design, implementation, and troubleshooting of new and existing equipment.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior Maintenance Technicians.
  • Cross-train in other areas as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership to recommend and implement improvements to processes, equipment, and procedures (safety, quality, delivery, productivity).
  • Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a related role in an applicable environment.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced technical or mechanical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to recognize and solve non-routine problems with limited direction.
  • Communicates detailed technical information with tact and diplomacy, both written and verbal.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $29.52 - $34.18 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
