About the role
A typical day in this role will include:
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC mills/lathes and injection molding equipment (electrical and mechanical systems).
- Develop, perform, and audit preventive maintenance procedures.
- Maintain high equipment uptime, including specialized Chemkey systems.
- Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures.
- Develop and execute emergency repair plans for critical assets.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and DBS activities.
- Handle and ensure proper disposal of chemical and non-chemical (including hazardous) waste.
- Participate in team meetings for planning, resource allocation, problem-solving, and project work.
- Assist with design, implementation, and troubleshooting of new and existing equipment.
- Provide guidance and support to junior Maintenance Technicians.
- Cross-train in other areas as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership to recommend and implement improvements to processes, equipment, and procedures (safety, quality, delivery, productivity).
- Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.
Requirements
- 4+ years in a related role in an applicable environment.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Advanced technical or mechanical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to recognize and solve non-routine problems with limited direction.
- Communicates detailed technical information with tact and diplomacy, both written and verbal.

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $29.52 - $34.18 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
