Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems.
• Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts.
• Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.
• Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs, and returns equipment to specifications.
• Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet special needs.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment.
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of machine tools and their use.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• HS/GED or equivalent education.
• 3 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions, and engineering specifications.

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience, and internal equity.

Schedule

1st shift, Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm.
