About the Role

AJM Packaging Corporation is seeking a Machine Compliance Technician to perform routine and non-routine inspections of materials and equipment, ensure compliance with standards, document results, identify non-conformances, and support corrective actions and SOP development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine inspections of in-process materials, raw materials, and finished goods using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Perform compliance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure adherence to internal standards.
• Identify non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and prepare compliance reports.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of compliance issues.
• Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to machine compliance and inspection procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and communication.
