Machine Adjuster

Machine Adjusters play a crucial role in maintaining production efficiency. Their responsibilities typically include setup, adjustment, repairs, monitoring and maintenance. Overall, their expertise helps ensure that production runs seamlessly and meets quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the production team to meet production and quality goals
• Understanding the functions of the machine, correlator, and presses
• Adjusting the machine periodically for quality control
• Understanding and can lock out and tag out a machine when required
• Verifying machines are working correctly through daily inspections
• Managing quality by checking the operators' work, quality of bags, and checking labels for correctness
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience preferred
• Will need to read, write, and perform basic math
• Will need to have ability to troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment
• Will train but prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Work Environment

• Hearing protection and steel toed shoes are required
• Safety, hygiene, and cleanliness is strictly enforced
