About the role

Assists providers in care, medical record documentation, and treatment of patients. Obtain and process doctor’s orders. Provide good customer service on the phone, or with patients, doctors and other medical staff. Work well under pressure.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited high school program or higher
• Valid driver’s license
• Phlebotomy course and phlebotomy experience
• Experience with computers and office equipment
• Effective reading and communication skills in English
• Bilingualism is a plus
• Understanding of medical terminology
• General math skills
• Ability to make sound judgments, organize tasks, think critically, and work well with others
• Customer service skills, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure
• Recognition and understanding of complex reflex testing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driver’s license
• Phlebotomy certification and experience
• Computer and office equipment proficiency
