MA (Medical Assistant)/LPN: Nephrology Clinic

Position: Medical Assistant (MA): Nephrology Clinic
Location: Waterloo, IA
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Day shift, M-F
Responsibilities
- Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks.
- Aids physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures.
- Captures and maintains accurate medical records.
- Coordinates patient flow to ensure a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
- MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.
- OR Must have successfully completed accredited LPN program.
- LPN License in the state of Iowa.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
