MA (Medical Assistant)/LPN: GI Clinic

Position: Medical Assistant (MA) or LPN: GI Clinic
Location: Waterloo, IA
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Day shift, M-F
Responsibilities
- Affirms physician and other healthcare provider care delivery through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures.
- Supports patient flow by coordinating with other healthcare staff and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Maintains a positive patient experience through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
- MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.
- OR Must have successfully completed accredited LPN program.
- LPN License in the state of Iowa.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Basic clinical skills including patient preparation, vital sign collection, and documentation.
