What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Room patients, take vital signs, and reconcile medical records
• Perform injections and assist with medical procedures
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for patient visits
• Submit medication prior authorizations and report abnormal laboratory values
• Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and healthcare providers

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Completion of a Medical Assistant course accredited by CAAHEP, ABHES, or equivalent
• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified or achieve this designation within 6 months of hire
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card
