Responsibilities

• Perform Point-of-Care (POC) Testing, splinting, and wound care
• Absorb and document patient history, medications, and vital signs
• Prepare and clean exam rooms
• Aid in patient triage
• Recognize and report symptoms of common medical illnesses to providers
• Communicate with patients, families, and providers
• Assist providers with procedures and medical exams
• Transport patients within hospital departments

Requirements

• Completion of a Medical Assistant course accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES or equivalent
• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified or must achieve this designation within 6 months of hire
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card

Compensation, Benefits & Position Details

Pay Range: Minimum $28.56/hour, Maximum $40.86/hour. Additional compensation includes night shift differential pay. For more details on benefits, visit this link.
