Pay
Casual position, pay starts at $18.25/hour, depending on experience, plus a $0.50 differential for working in Family Practice.

Your Day
As an MA/LPN/RN Family Practice, you need to know how to:
- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physician, which could include casting, bracing, and injections
- Provide clinical triage/communication as defined by protocol or per provider instructions
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients, including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipment
- Prepare basic laboratory tests on-premises and prepare laboratory specimens
- Administer adult and childhood vaccines and wellness exams
- Observe disease improvement and help manage chronic conditions
- Help patients navigate the healthcare system, providing one-on-one education, and participating in the patient’s healthcare plan
- Aid in identifying methods of improving patient care
- Assist with special procedures not offered in the Urgent Care, i.e., IUDs, Nexplanon, biopsies, diabetic foot care, sleep studies, Cologuards, and circumcisions
- Assist the back office in managing patient flow, paperwork, and customer service
- Perform quality customer service and patient education based on assessment of needs
- Perform tests and procedures as ordered
- Accurately document patient encounters and interventions performed
- Relay provider instructions to patients
- Aid in all non-direct patient care tasks (autoclaving, stocking room, scanning records, mailing, etc.)
- Aid in emergency situations
- Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization, i.e., HIPAA
Experience
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
- Completion of a nationally accredited MA program
- LPNs and RNs must have a current license from the Idaho Board of Nursing
- Venipuncture skills
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Customer service-oriented attitude/behavior
- Computer proficiency is required, and the ability to use applicable software as required to perform the essential functions of the job
- Recommended vaccines to include annual Influenza, Hep B, TDaP, MMR, Varicella, and TB
