Position Summary & Highlights

The Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Clinical Support Team. This float position offers variety and exposure to different service areas and specialties across multiple clinics in the Treasure Valley.

What You Will Do

  • Promote a positive experience in patient care with compassion and kindness
  • Perform duties under the Medical Assistant scope of practice based on clinics' needs
  • Support and work under the supervision of the Physician and/or Advanced Practice Provider
  • Support efficient clinic flow alongside a variety of Providers, Clinical Support, and Front office staff
  • Communicate accurately and positively with team members

Work Schedule Information

  • Full-time positions, 40 hours per week
  • Scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance for shifts
  • Work schedules may vary based on staffing needs in the clinics
  • Shifts could be 5-8's, 4-10's, or 3-12's
  • Availability needed primarily Monday – Friday with occasional weekend and holiday coverage

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire
  • MA certification required within 90 days of hire from one of the approved agencies
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification required at hire
