About the role
The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
- Floating when needed (mileage reimbursement offered)
- Certification required at hire
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the direction/supervision of a Physician, NP/PA, RN, or LPN
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks and procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- One year of clinical/administrative experience required
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Certification must be received within nine months of employment in one of the following programs:
- CCMA – Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- CMA – Certified Medical Assistant
- RMA – Registered Medical Assistant
- EMT – Emergency Medical Technician
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
