About the role

M&H Valve Machine Shop Supervisor position is available at M&H Valve Machine Shop. This is a full-time, exempt position within the MHV M&H Valve division of McWane, Inc., a company with a long history of excellence in manufacturing water and wastewater materials.

Responsibilities

• Ensures personal and team safety through proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Promotes The McWane Way principles and collaborates with other supervisors and managers.
• Oversees day-to-day operations, ensures quality processes, and communicates safety standards.
• Schedules machining operations, maintains production records, and confirms cycle counts.
• Interprets specifications and sets up machines, interprets job orders, and motivates workers.
• Reports malfunctions to maintenance personnel and maintains stocking plans.
• Manages direct reports, conducts performance reviews, and coaches/retrains staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
• Proficiency in CNC operations required.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
