Lymphedema Therapist - OTA or PTA | San Antonio Med Center Rehab

The Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at PAM Health. The ideal candidate should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Care for our diverse patient population
• Direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients
• Implement treatment programs based on the principles and practices of occupational therapy
• Work within the PAM Health system in various facilities
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
• Current BLS certification required
• One year of clinical experience preferred

Qualifications

• Experience working with lymphedema patients is preferred, but not required if the candidate has relevant experience
• Prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning
• Flexible to work in multiple facilities within the PAM Health system
