Lymphedema Therapist (OT or PT) - FT | San Antonio Med Center Rehab

About the role

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior outpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. At PAM Health, we care for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care.

Certification is preferred, but not required for candidates who have experience in treating lymphedema patients.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs in an age-appropriate manner for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health System.
• Involvement in the further development of the services.
• Flexibility to meet the needs of the System within many different facilities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Licensed as OT in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current certification as a certified Lymphedema Therapist (preferred, but not required for candidates with relevant experience).
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
