Lymphedema Therapist

About the role

The therapist will be working with a wonderful team of outpatient Orthopedic PTs with a wide range of specialties. The team includes the Pelvic Health and Lymphedema Program Coordinator who has extensive experience in pelvic floor and chronic pain rehabilitation, with 17 years focused on treating complex lymphedema/edema issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical or occupational therapy services in a lymphedema setting
• Work closely with the Pelvic Health and Lymphedema Program Coordinator to manage patient cases
• Coordinate care with local healthcare providers such as UCLA, City of Hope, and USC doctors
• Offer a variety of exercise and health programs at the fully equipped Health and Fitness Center
• Participate in continuing education seminars and share knowledge with the team
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including cold laser and Physiotouch

Requirements

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in California
• Lymphedema certification preferred
• Interest in obtaining a Certificate in Lymphedema Management preferred
• Experience in an outpatient lymphedema setting preferred, but new graduates with clinical experience are welcome to apply

Pay

$45.00 to $58.00 per hour*

Hours are flexible and may vary based on patient needs and clinic requirements.
