As a Lymphedema Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you’ll help patients regain comfort, confidence, and function through specialized, hands-on care that truly changes daily life. You’ll support treatment plans focused on lymphedema management, track patient progress, and collaborate closely with the supervising therapist and care team to keep outcomes moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Delivering lymphedema-focused interventions under supervision
- Educating patients and caregivers on home strategies and long-term management
- Documenting visits clearly and accurately to support continuity of care
- Coordinating with the clinic team to keep care timely and patient-centered
Requirements
- OTA license/eligibility (Louisiana)
- Lymphedema certification
- Strong communication, organization, and patient rapport
