We are seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs/LPNs) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a detox and addiction treatment setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications, including controlled substances.
- Monitor detoxification processes and patient status.
- Document patient care within 24 hours of each shift.
- Collaborate with physicians and mental health professionals.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Ensure continuity of care through detailed shift reports.
Qualifications
- Graduation from a community college with a nursing diploma.
- Valid Texas LVN/LPN license.
- Minimum one year of experience in a psychiatric or detox environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Experience handling medications, including controlled substances.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of nursing principles and detox protocols.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and infection control.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Pay
Competitive hourly rate of $30–$33.
