About the role

This position supports clinic activity under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Key responsibilities include prioritizing and assisting in patient triage processing, preparation and assistance with patient examinations, administering medications, drawing blood, collecting and preparing laboratory tests, and patient education.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - issued by the state of California
• Two years minimum years LVN experience for a Sr. level
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date
• Recent experience in a similar role and setting

• OB / Women's Health Experience
• Pediatrics Experience
• Procedures & Instrument Sterilization Preparation Process Experience
• Experience with Point of Care Testing
• Medication / Vaccine administration Experience
• UCSD system knowledge

Special Conditions

• Able to work flexible hours which may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and some overtime
• Able to work various locations based on business needs

Pay

Annual Full Pay Range: $67,756 - $84,209 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Schedule

Days, 8-Hour Shifts, Monday-Friday
