LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) 2pm to 10pm and PRN

The Plaza at Lubbock is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join a well‑respected long‑term and rehabilitative care facility in Lubbock, TX. The role involves directing patient care in accordance with clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders while delivering high‑quality, customer‑service‑focused services. Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
• Implement and evaluate care plans.
• Identify and secure equipment supplies.
• Direct and oversee subordinate staff.
• Participate in duty assignments.
• Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversee and monitor the function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate disciplinary or training actions.
• Monitor infection‑control compliance.
• Investigate and document accidents and incidents.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
• Previous skilled nursing experience.
• Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
