Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and Double Weekend

About the role

Accel at Willow Bend in Plano, TX is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to join a facility that specializes in long‑term and rehabilitative care. The LVN will participate in and direct the delivery of patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders, ensuring high‑quality services in a customer‑service‑friendly environment. This role contributes to a positive resident experience by providing compassionate healthcare and supports the mission to deliver superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
• Implement and evaluate care plans.
• Identify and secure equipment and supplies.
• Direct and oversee subordinate staff.
• Participate in duty assignments.
• Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversee and monitor the function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate disciplinary or training actions.
• Monitor infection control compliance.
• Investigate and document accidents and incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
• Management or supervisory experience (required).
• Experience in long‑term healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
