LVN I/II/III - GI - Kelsey-Seybold Clinic - Main Campus

As a multi‑specialty clinic we offer care from more than 900 medical providers in 65 specialties. The position is for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at varying levels (I, II, III) placed according to qualifications and experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• LVN I
  • Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Coordinator.
  • Apply clinical nursing knowledge and demonstrated skills to ensure safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.
  • Identify priorities and make judgments concerning the basic needs of multiple patients to organize care.
• LVN II
  • Includes all duties of LVN I.
• LVN III
  • Includes all duties of LVN I and LVN II.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program.
• Current and valid Texas LVN license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• 6+ months experience in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program.
• Ability to use equipment and related supplies for the assigned patient population.
• Basic computer experience.
• Pass a drug test prior to beginning employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• LVN II: 4+ years experience in a clinical area.
• LVN III: 9+ years experience in a clinical area.

Pay

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $20.00 to $36.00 per hour based on full‑time employment, local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other factors.
