Responsibilities
- Triage patients
- Answer patient inquiries regarding medication and follow‑up on messages about surgery
- Provide patient education on surgery and procedures being scheduled
- Schedule surgery and relay pre‑operative information to patients
- Assist the physician during patient exams
- Room patients and document encounters in eClinicalWorks (ECW)
- Perform EKGs, manual blood pressure cuffs, and Holter monitor applications
