Various unit security levels are available for travel Correctional Nurse contracts in Texas, and LVNs can choose to stay at their current location or relocate when extending their contract.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration
• Immunizations
• Admissions
• Emergency first aid
• Working with a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals who understand corrections and the unique challenges you face

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of LVN experience with recent Acute Med/Surg experience
• Active TX nursing license
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Ability to pass a background check before starting work

Pay

$1,408 – $1,533 per week

Schedule

• 13‑week full‑time contract
• NOC shift available
• 36/48 hour week rotation
• Month‑to‑month block scheduling
