Position Overview
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Auxiliary residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Document patient information, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates on patient status and address any concerns or questions.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and contribute to care planning and coordination.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations governing nursing practice.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and respect in all interactions with residents, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of California.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and families.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to promoting dignity and independence.
- Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
