LVN Apprenticeship I – Surgical Technologist

About the role

Facilitate the operative or other invasive procedure by preparing and providing the required sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment and maintains the sterile field while anticipating and responding to the needs of the surgical team. CSTs have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continued education.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: LVN License
• Minimum Work Experience: No previous experience
• Required Licenses/Certifications: CPR-BLS; must maintain a valid and unencumbered LVN license
• Deals effectively with hospital personnel
• Advocate of quality and cost effective care
• Maintains professional appearance at all times
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Designated Driver
• No OSHA Category 1 - High Risk
