About the role

The position involves performing a variety of patient care activities in support of clinic operations, including patient triage, procedure assistance, medication administration, and laboratory testing.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize and assist in patient triage processing
- Prepare and assist with patient procedures
- Administer medications
- Perform point-of-care testing
- Collect and prepare laboratory tests
- Provide patient education
Requirements
- License as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) issued by the state of California
- BLS certification at time of hire, with commitment to obtain BART within six months of hire
- A minimum of two (2) years of LVN experience
- Knowledge of universal precautions and proper use of body mechanics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with allergy, immunology, and angioedema patient populations
- Certification in Intravenous Therapy and Blood Withdrawal issued by the state of California (LVN IV/BW) within three months of hire
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and effective communication skills

- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs
- Subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical
Pay
Annual Full Pay Range: $74,980 - $93,229 (prorated if appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $35.91 - $44.65
