Luxury Spa Cosmetologist (Part-Time)

About the role

Responsibilities

• Style, cut, and color hair services for guests
• Provide guidance on proper hair care and recommend home care routines
• Promote and sell spa/salon services and retail products
• Set up workstations with essential products, equipment, and supplies to ensure guest comfort and safety
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
• Resolve any issues promptly and maintain a professional demeanor
• Build and maintain positive relationships with associates and guests

Requirements

• Certification or licensing at the local and/or state level (minimum 200 hours of Cosmetology education and at least two years of professional experience preferred)
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends

Pay

The anticipated compensation range for the position is $17.00 per hour, depending on several factors such as years of experience, industry experience, education, work location, etc. For applicants working in NYC, the range is $17.00 per hour; for those working in New York, the range is also $17.00 per hour.
