General Summary of Position
Responsible for leading assigned appointments and meeting with potential customers to accomplish the ultimate objective of successfully closing a sale; generating positive profitability and exceeding customer expectations.
Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Some states require salesperson license/registration
- Years of Experience: Three plus years successful B to C sales experience required
- Required Skills & Abilities:
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Working knowledge of CRM software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and spoken
- Customer service oriented with positive and outgoing personality
- Strong negotiating skills
- Able to develop and deliver presentations
- Excellent organization and follow-up skills
- Works well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Travel Requirements: 90-100% within territory
- Other Requirements: After year one, must feel comfortable being compensated under a 100% commission pay structure
Physical requirements
- Ability to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
- Ability to communicate promptly and clearly via phone and computer
- Ability to drive or travel between job sites as needed
