About the role
The Sales Product Specialist (Full-Time) position at Perigold, the luxury home destination, involves driving sales in-store, building personalized connections with customers, becoming an expert on Perigold products, and collaborating with the design team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain luxury experience standards by providing an authentic, inviting guest experience.
- Drive sales in store by building personalized connections with customers through thoughtful questions.
- Become an expert on Perigold products and services to help guide guests through their questions and provide product options.
- Demonstrate confidence in closing the sale and educating guests on various ways to purchase.
- Collaborate with Design team, generating and referring leads as appropriate or supporting product inquiries coming from the design process.
- Contribute effectively as needed in all operational aspects of the store including processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, backfill substitutions, and general upkeep of the store.
- Exemplify a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with customers and team members.
- Bring a willingness to share innovative ideas and solutions to continuously improve team operations.
- Engage in a high energy, focused, and dynamic work environment where there can be rapid changes in products, promotions, and operations.
Requirements
- Experience in retail sales, particularly in a design-related environment or luxury sales.
- Flexibility availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Multi-tasking and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
